How to Meet your Resolution Goals

Hi Lovely Readers!

First of all, I want to apologize for not writing sooner. That is one thing I will work on this year, blogging consistently. Even if I don't have anything say, I'll still write, something will come.

Okay, now on to the meat the blog. As we are approaching the second week of January, most people have either started their resolutions in full swing or procrastinating starting that new "diet".

Whether you want to drop 50 pounds, stay healthy or get more productive, keeping track of your successes is key. The key to success on any resolution/goal is taking small and manageable steps. Here are some tips to stay on track of your goals:
First things first you must determine you WHY. This is your burning desire to keep you going through the tough times. It's important to go back to this WHY especially at your downfalls, as well as your up-points.

Have an accountability partner/team. It's always a good idea to keep someone close to you in line with your goals and progress. This will help you stay on track when you do fall. For example, if your goal is to lose weight, consider finding a health coach to help keep you on track of a healthy eating plan. Also, having a buddy for the gym is a good idea to keep you going to the gym.

Minimize Stress. Making big changes to your life, can be a stressful time, it's important to take time for your self to help de-stress your mood. Try taking a Yoga or Pilates class. Maybe a girls day in at the spa? Whatever makes you happy, do that!

Prioritize Sleep. No matter what your goal is, getting an adequate amount of sleep is not only healthy , it will keep you on track of maintaining your goals.

Most importantly, stop thinking about your plan and Just Do It!!! Nothing will ever change unless you make changes to your life.
Keep Growing Friends!!
